NOTICE: Regarding Coronavirus – Updated August 11, 2020 

To our DGIQ community,

Due to continued attendee safety concerns and travel and gathering restrictions, DATAVERSITY has officially modified the 2020 Data Governance & Information Quality Conference from an in-person event to a live online event on December 7-11, 2020. The portion of this live online program being presented on December 8th and 9th is free to all who wish to register and will also be made available to registrants as on-demand presentations following the live event.

Several additional live online tutorials will be presented throughout the week and available for purchase through our registration system. Learn more about the full agenda by visiting the Program tab in the menu bar at the top of this website.

FAQ

Q. Do I need to pay to register or watch this event? 

A. There are several options for participation. You can select from several in-depth online tutorials at an additional cost per training session. However, the live general sessions presented on December 8-9, 2020, are free to all registered attendees. Separate registration is required for access to the free portion. When you register for the free portion of this program, we will also give you free access to the on-demand recordings of those sessions a few days after the event has ended. Register for the free two-day event here. Registration for the in-depth tutorial sessions being presented on Monday, Thursday, and Friday will open soon.

Q. What are the live online tutorials like?

A. The half-day tutorials listed on the program are live interactive sessions led by an industry expert. Each tutorial will be unique; some may offer workshop activities, lectures, breakout sessions, and other fun interactive activities. All registrants for the tutorials will communicate and interact with the speaker and fellow attendees for an online classroom-like experience. Q. If I register for the live online tutorials, do I have to attend?

A. You are encouraged to attend the entire live tutorial. Not only is the instructor looking forward to meeting you, but you will benefit from the real-time discussion and networking that occurs when data-driven professionals come together in our interactive setting. Your registration includes on-demand access to the recording and materials of the tutorials your registration pass gives you access to following the live event.

Q. I can't attend the free two-day portion of this live event. Can I still get the recordings?

A. Yes, your free registration will include access to the recordings of all the presentations and links to download the slides. 

Q. I received a confirmation email when I registered, but how will I access these online sessions and tutorials on the day they are presented?

A. Once you have paid for your registration package, you will receive the login information and instructions to join the live events. If you have questions about this access, please email info@dataversity.net.

Q. Will DATAVERSITY host face-to-face conferences again? 

A. Yes, DATAVERSITY is home to many educational events, online training options, webinars, white papers, articles, and blogs, and we intend to continue to host large-scale face-to-face conferences again when the safety of our attendees can be ensured.
